Continuous Process Six Sigma On-Site Seminars Every
seminar listed below is available for on-site presentation. Clients may
also wish to use their own data for class examples, problems or case histories.
An hourly analysis/formatting fee is charged and the client is given an
estimate of the total time expected. Seminar fees are based on the number
of attendees. Both out-of-pocket expenses and an hourly travel fee are
also charged. The client may have the option of a flat fee in most instances.
Discounts are given for two or more on-site seminars within a one year
time period. Please Note: In certain cases, on-site seminars and their content may result from a Plant Assessment. Please see Services.
Conventional Statistical Process Control This two day seminar covers the basic principles and techniques used in understanding and applying statistical process control to a piece part manufacturing system. Topics such as inherent vs. assignable sources of variability, process capability and process control, variables vs. attributes and the use, construction and interpretation of Shewhart and other control charts will be discussed. This course may be designed to accommodate the needs of both exempt and/or non-exempt personnel and is a prerequisite for anyone going on to continuous process (roll goods) variability analysis and control.

Machine Operator Roll Variability Analysis and Control This one-day day seminar stresses the major differences between conventional and continuous product patterns of variability. Emphasis is placed on the basic concepts behind roll product variability and the application of these concepts to when and why corrective action should or should not be taken on the manufacturing floor. This seminar is also applicable to quality technicians.
Breakthrough Profitability Strategy This one hour presentation for Upper Management discusses profitability strategy, expectations and timing using the process variability analysis and control techniques provided by PJ Associates. This presentation is given at no consulting charge although out-of-pocket travel expenses may be charged.
Cost of Quality This one-day seminar will review four techniques for understanding and quantifying cost of quality in a roll goods manufacturing and/or converting operation.
Design Of Experiments This 4 ½ day seminar emphasizes the essential steps needed in planning, conducting, analyzing and interpreting the results of roll process experiments. The reduction of product and process variation and the centering of the process average are stressed. Using highly cost effective and powerful factorial methods, the seminar minimizes advanced statistical theory and maximizes participant involvement and practice.
Quality Function Deployment This 2 ½ day seminar is used to develop products and services that thoroughly and efficiently capture the true voice of the customer. The QFD planning process has consistently reduced lead times, startup costs and engineering changes by over 30%.
Supplier Certification This one day seminar covers the development of appropriate specifications, quality procedures and test methods in terms of a vendor certification program. The role of SPC in this system is also highlighted. Customized Seminars These allow you to "mix and match" all the seminars listed in terms of your own needs. You may use your own data as class examples for a small extra fee. |
